Slip02

ORLANDO — A Palm Beach County woman is suing a Kissimmee resort owner, alleging negligence caused her to suffer injuries.

Alicia B. Pajares filed a complaint Dec. 20 in Orange County Circuit Court against Westgate Resorts Inc., failure to follow applicable safety guidelines and regulations.

According to the complaint, on March 17, 2017, Pajares was an invitee at the defendant's property, 7700 Westgate, Blvd., Kissimmee.  The suit says Pajares tripped and fell as a result of a dangerous or hazardous condition created by the defendant. As a result of the defendant's negligence, the plaintiff says, she suffered bodily injury, aggravation of a pre-existing condition, disability, mental anguish and inconvenience.

The plaintiff alleges Westgate Resorts failed to place a warning device in the area of the dangerous condition, failed to comply with all applicable safety codes and regulations, and failed to inspect and correct the dangerous condition.

Pajares seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, exclusive of interest, and court costs. She is represented by attorney Gregory T. Zele of Zele Huber Trial Attorneys PA in Jupiter.
