Slip02

CLEARWATER — A Pinellas County pedestrian is suing Tarpon Springs and an apartment owner, alleging negligence caused him to fall on a sidewalk and suffer injuries.

Baggelis Lambros filed a complaint Sept. 25 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against the city of Tarpon Springs and Olympic Investment Group LLC, alleging they failed to maintain their premises in a safe condition.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 25, Lambros sustained serious and permanent bodily injuries when he was slipped and fell due to a sunken area at the sidewalk on the defendants' property at 218 N. Pinellas Ave., Tarpon Springs. The suit says Lambros experienced pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of earnings, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life and incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to timely conduct an adequate inspection of the sidewalk and failed to warn the general public of the dangerous condition of the premises.

Lambros seeks trial by jury and damages. He is represented by attorney Nikki M. Kavouklis of Law Offices of Nikki M. Kavouklis, doing business as Zen 4 Law in Tarpon Springs.
