Key West lender accuses chiropractor of unpaid debt

ORLANDO — A Key West man is suing an Orange County chiropractor, alleging an unpaid debt of nearly $33,000.

Scott Saunders filed a complaint Sept. 14 in Orange Circuit Court against Barton Chiropractic Oviedo LLC alleging breach of duty of good faith and fair dealing in failure to pay a debt.

According to the complaint, Saunders has suffered substantial financial losses from the defendant's failure to make payment of $32,950 that has been is due with interest since May 31, 2016, on the note. 

The plaintiff alleges Barton Chiropractic Oviedo has failed to fulfill its obligations under the note, and received and retained monetary benefit without paying dues at the expense and detriment of the plaintiff.

Saunders seeks trial by jury, damages, plus costs, interest, attorney fees and all further relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorneys John H. Bill and Michael S. Kraynick of Godbold, Downing, Bill & Rentz PA in Winter Park.
