Motorist alleges another driver caused crash that led to injuries

Car accident 31

CLEARWATER — A St. Petersburg woman is suing a local motorist, alleging his negligence led to a vehicle crash that injured the plaintiff.

Ashley Williams filed a complaint Sept. 15 in Pinellas Circuit Court against Kevin Bartkovsky, alleging he failed to exercise standard care and skill required in operating a motor vehicle.

According to the complaint, on July 17, along Interstate Highway 75 near 54th Avenue S., Bartkovsky's Ford pickup truck ran into Williams' vehicle. The suit says Williams sustained bodily injury and great pain and suffering, impairment, disability, inconvenience, mental anguish, loss of earnings, and incurred medical expenses..

The plaintiff alleges Bartkovsky failed to adequately maintain and operate a motor vehicle so as not to cause harm, and failed to be on proper lookout for other vehicles.

Williams seeks trial by jury, judgment for an amount within the jurisdictional limits of the court, or exceeding $15,000 plus court costs, and all other relief to which the plaintiff is justly entitled. She is represented by attorney Calvin Robinson of The Robinson Law Group PLLC in St. Petersburg.
