ORLANDO — An individual is suing The Forbes Company LLC and Maintenance of Florida Inc. for alleged negligence.
Dinah Lopez filed a complaint on Aug. 8 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendants failed to provide a safe environment for their patrons.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was a lawfully on the defendants' property on or about Aug. 14, 2013 when she allegedly slipped and fell on a liquid substance that allegedly had accumulated on the premises. As a result, the plaintiff allegedly suffered bodily injuries, resulting in pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity to enjoy life and medical expenses.
The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to warn patrons of the dangerous conditions and inspect the premises on a regular basis to ensure that it was maintained in a safe manner.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for general damages and any further relief she may be justly entitled. She is represented by Mario A. Ceballos of Eola Law PA in Orlando.
