ORLANDO — An individual is suing Holiday Divers Inc. d/b/a Divers Direct for alleged negligence.

Rosalind Quash Williams filed a complaint on Aug. 7 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to provide a safe environment for its patrons.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was a guest at the defendant's retail store Oct. 27, 2016 when she allegedly tripped and fell due to uneven pavement on the sidewalk. As a result, the plaintiff claims that she sustained serious injuries and other damages, including pain and suffering, disability, medical expenses and loss of earnings.

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to timely and properly inspect its property for unsafe conditions and warn her of dangerous conditions that allegedly existed on its property.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for $15,000 in damages, along with costs and pre-judgment interest. She is represented by Piercy J. Stakelum of The Trial Professionals PA in Orlando.
