ORLANDO — Two individuals are suing American Integrity Insurance Company for alleged breach of contract.
Marie Frais and Ruben Ifraenne filed a complaint on Aug. 1 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the insurance carrier breached its duty of good faith and fair dealing.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that their dwelling was damaged by a kitchen plumbing leak on or about Nov. 21, 2016. Although the plaintiffs allegedly submitted invoices for the necessary repairs, the defendant allegedly has not paid the claim in full.
The plaintiffs hold the defendant responsible for allegedly obligating them to retain and pay for the services of a legal counsel to represent and protect their interests, and for allegedly refusing to pay the full amount of the their insurance claim.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant for damages, interest and attorney fees. They are represented by Samuel Rogatinsky and E. Terrell Matthews of Rogatinsky & Matthews PA in Fort Lauderdale.
