Wal-Mart Stores East LP allegedly failed to prevent customer from slipping and falling

ORLANDO — An individual is suing Wal-Mart Stores East LP for alleged negligence.

Kim L. Frey filed a complaint on Aug. 1 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to provide a safe environment for its patrons.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she visited the defendant’s store on Oct. 23, 2015 when she allegedly slipped and fell on a liquid substance on the floor, allegedly resulting in pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, significant scarring, mental anguish, medical expenses, loss of earnings and the aggravation of pre-existing condition. 

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to adequately maintain and inspect the floor of the store and warn her of the dangerous conditions of the flooring.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages in excess of $15,000 plus interest and costs. She is represented by Gregory S. Stark of Todd K. Miner PA in Orlando.
