Orlando International Airport allegedly failed to prevent woman from slipping on liquid

ORLANDO — An individual is suing Greater Orlando Aviation Authority d/b/a Orlando International Airport for alleged negligence.

Deborah Dennis filed a complaint on July 20 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to provide a safe environment for its patrons.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was lawfully on the defendant's premises on May 25, 2016 when she slipped on a liquid substance and fell forcefully to the ground, allegedly sustaining severe bodily injuries, pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish and loss of earnings. 

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to maintain, inspect and correct the dangerous condition, and for allegedly failing to warn her of the dangerous condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages in excess of $15,000 plus interest and costs. She is represented by Logan J. Young of Dan Newlin & Partners in Orlando.
