ORLANDO — A restaurant patron is suing Winter Park PR's Inc. d/b/a PR's Taco Palace for alleged negligence.
Jackie Vollet filed a complaint on June 27 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to provide a safe environment for its patrons.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was lawfully on the defendant’s premises on January 31 when she allegedly slipped and fell on an unspecified substance that was on the floor, allegedly sustained severe bodily injury, pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, significant scaring, mental anguish and medical expenses.
The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to adequately inspect and maintain the floor condition, and for allegedly failing to adequately warn her of the danger of the substance on the floor.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages in excess of $15,000 plus interest and costs. She is represented by Scott J. Liotta of Dan Newlin & Partners in Orlando.
