Insurance 03

CLEARWATER — A woman is suing Tower Hill Preferred Insurance Company for alleged breach of an insurance contract.

Amanda Carrier a/k/a Amanda Vogt filed a complaint on June 30 in the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida - Pinellas County, alleging that the defendant failed to provide coverage under the terms of its insurance policy.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that her insured property sustained a covered loss on June 7, 2016 due to wind damage. Though she allegedly filed a timely claim for the loss, she allegedly has not received adequate payment. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to properly investigate the cause of the loss and for failing to pay the correct amount of the insurance benefits.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to recover unpaid damages plus interest, attorney's fees, costs of court and other appropriate relief. She is represented by David Low of David Low & Associates PA in Fort Lauderdale.
