FORT LAUDERDALE — A restaurant patron is suing Bonefish Grill LLC for alleged negligence.
Isabel Rambauth filed a complaint on June 13 in the Broward County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to provide a safe environment for its patrons.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was lawfully on the defendant's premises on Dec. 7, 2015 when she slipped and fell on a slippery substance that remained on the floor of the defendant's restaurant. As a result of defendant's alleged negligence, the plaintiff sustained injuries, lost wages and an aggravation of a pre-existing condition.
The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to warn her of the dangerous condition, and for failing to maintain the restaurant in safe and proper conditions.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages in excess of $15,000. She is represented by William C. Ruggiero of Law Offices of William C. Ruggiero in Fort Lauderdale.
