FORT LAUDERDALE — A customer is suing ALDI Inc. for alleged negligence.
Marianne Lamy filed a complaint on June 9 in the Broward County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to provide a safe environment on its premises.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered bodily injury on Jan. 31, 2016 when she slipped and fell on what she believes was applesauce, resulting in pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish and aggravation of a pre-existing condition.
The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to warn her about the dangerous condition and take steps to prevent injuries.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages, plus interest and costs. She is represented by Christopher Wigand of The Wigand Law Firm in Ft. Lauderdale.
