FORT LAUDERDALE — A horse boarding company is suing Rose Family Stable for alleged breach of contract.

Get Away Farm LLC filed a complaint on June 15 in the Broward County Circuit Court, alleging that the Florida company breached its duty of good faith and fair dealing.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered a profit loss from the defendant's alleged failure to pay for services rendered by the plaintiff to provide boarding services for thoroughbred horses owned by the defendant.

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to timely submit full payments for the plaintiff's invoices.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages in the amount of $137,416.26 plus pre-judgment interest, costs and any further relief the court considers appropriate. The plaintiff is represented by Joe M. Grant of Marshall Socarras Grant PL in Boca Raton.
