Woman alleges Allstate has failed to pay uninsured motorist coverage after crash

CLEARWATER – A motorist is seeking insurance benefits and damages after a collision in Pinellas County.

Gabriella Jalo filed a complaint on June 20 in the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida - Pinellas County against Elaine Mentry, Randall Mentry and Allstate Fire and Casualty Insurance alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 8, 2015, she was injured when Elaine Mentry collided with the back of her vehicle in Pinellas County.

The plaintiff alleges she suffered pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life and medical expenses. She also states she made a claim with Allstate for uninsured motorist coverage but that it has failed to tender any amount.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for damages sustained by plaintiff, plus costs, fees and all other relief that the court deems just and proper. She is represented by Afram Malki of The Malki Law Offices PA in New Port Richey.
