ORLANDO – A parent and minor child have filed suit against an Orlando daycare center after the child was allegedly injured on the playground.

The minor, through his natural parent and legal guardian Shara-Lou Pryce, filed a complaint on June 16 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Litangs Inc., doing business as Little Angels Child Care Inc. and Learning Center alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on April 20, 2016, the child was on the premises of the defendant as an enrollee and was injured while playing on the playground.

The plaintiffs hold Litangs Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to adequately train its employees on child supervision, failed to immediately render aid to the injured child, failed to comply with mandated teacher/child ratio and failed to follow emergency protocol.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendants for damages of more than $15,000, plus interest and costs. She is represented by Stefano Batista-Cagan of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
