Wells Pharmacy Network alleged to have incorrectly filled prescription

Medical malpractice 06

ORLANDO – An Orange County woman alleges that she suffered injuries after a pharmacy failed to dispense the prescribed amount of medication.

K. Bennett filed a complaint on June 16 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Wells Pharmacy Network LLC and John Doe alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff's physician had prescribed a medication that was to be filled by the defendant and mailed and/or delivered to the plaintiff's home. The suit states that the defendant dispensed the incorrect dosage and notified the plaintiff and her physician 12 weeks later of the error.

The plaintiff holds Wells Pharmacy Network LLC and John Doe responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to dispense the dose of prescription medication prescribed by plaintiff's physician.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages, costs of action, and further relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Ryan Christopher Rodems of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
