Woman alleges she was injured when items fell on her at Walmart store

FORT LAUDERDALE – A shopper at a North Lauderdale Walmart alleges that she was injured by falling items. 

Loletta Kemye Nunez filed a complaint on June 8 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 17, 2016, she was shopping at the defendant's store when carelessly positioned items for purchase on the store shelves fell on her. 

The plaintiff holds Wal-Mart Stores Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain and organize the store in a safe condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages, plus court costs. She is represented by Leslie D. Glenn of Leslie Duberstein Glenn PA in Boca Raton.
