ORLANDO – An Orlando company and two individuals allege that an insurance company wrongfully denied coverage for a roof replacement.
SDPS Inc., as assignee of Nguyen Ha Van and Vang Thanh Thuy Thi, filed a complaint on June 15 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Heritage Property & Casualty Insurance Co. alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, on Jan. 22, Nguyen Ha Van and Vang Thanh Thuy Thi's Orlando home was damaged by severe weather and needed the roof replaced. The plaintiffs allege that the defendant has failed and refused to cover the full property damage.
