ORLANDO – A consumer claims the defects in his Ford vehicle have not been repaired after three attempts.
Thomas Philip Canello filed a complaint on June 14 in the Orange Circuit Court against Ford Motor Co. alleging breach of written warranty and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 4, 2013, he purchased a 2014 Ford Focus. He alleges the vehicle has a defective engine, transmission and electrical system and other defects and that the defendant's authorized service dealer has not corrected the defect after three attempts.
The plaintiff holds Ford Motor Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to comply with its written warranty.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages, plus attorney's fees, witness fees, court costs and further relief that the court deems just. He is represented by Brent Wikgren of Krohn & Moss LTD in Chicago.
