Slip01

ORLANDO – A shopper at an Orlando retail store alleges that she was injured because she slipped on a substance that was left on the floor.

Tinishia Moore filed a complaint on June 14 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Family Dollar Stores of Florida LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 18, 2016, she slipped and fell on a transitory foreign substance on the floor of defendant's store and was injured.

The plaintiff holds Family Dollar Stores of Florida LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to train employees to inspect premises for dangerous conditions, failed to properly maintain premises and failed to render aid after plaintiff's fall.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for more than $15,000, plus interest and costs. She is represented by Dane Jordan of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
