FORT LAUDERDALE – A Weston resident alleges that she has to replace a new floor in her residence because it was not properly installed.
Emylet Colmenrez filed a complaint on June 14 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Naxos International Inc. alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 19, 2016, she entered an agreement with the defendant to install bamboo flooring and baseboard at her residence. She alleges the floor was improperly installed and now needs to be removed and replaced. She alleges the damages are now in excess of the cost she paid to have the floor installed.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for general damages and further relief to which she may be justly entitled. She is represented by Lorenzo Jackson Jr. of Jackson Law PA in Miramar.
