FORT LAUDERDALE – The owner of a commercial shopping center alleges a tenant has failed to pay rent.
Del Amo Fashion Center Operating Co. LLC filed a complaint on June 13 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Zee.Dog LLC alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 15, 2016, it entered into a written lease agreement with the defendant for retail space in the shopping center owned by the plaintiff. However, the defendant breached the terms of the contract by failing to pay monthly rent charges for the months of April onward.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for damages, attorney's fees, costs, accrued interest and other relief the court deems just. It is represented by Christine J. McKenna of McKenna, McCausland & Murphy PA in Fort Lauderdale.
