Homeowner alleges Security First Insurance failed to pay full value for roofing services

ORLANDO – An Orlando homeowner alleges that his insurer has not paid construction bills submitted to it for property damage.

Eliezer Santiago filed a complaint on June 12 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Security First Insurance Co., doing business as Security First Florida, alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 26, 2016, his insured property was damaged by hail and wind. The suit states the plaintiff submitted bills to the defendant for roofing and construction services but the defendant has not paid them.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for all unpaid and overdue insurance benefits with interest, costs, attorney fees and all other remedies the court sees fit. He is represented by Caleb Payne of Cohen Grossman Attorneys At Law in Maitland.
