Woman alleges Tower Hill Signature breached contract with failure to pay claim

Insurance 03

ORLANDO – The owner of an Orlando property alleges that her insurer has not paid her claim for damages.

Sally Izzo filed a complaint on June 9 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Tower Hill Signature Insurance Co. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 31, 2016, while her property's insurance was in full force and effect, it suffered a covered loss due to water damage from a broken pipe. The suit states the plaintiff notified the defendant of the loss, but that the defendant has not failed to establish that it is not responsible for the payment of the damages and failed to pay.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages, interest, attorney's fees, costs, and other relief that the court deems just. She is represented by Thomas J. Morgan Jr. of Morgan Law Group PA in Coral Gables.
