FORT LAUDERDALE – A Pembroke Pines homeowner alleges she is entitled to full coverage for damages to her property.

Theresa Fischetti filed a complaint on June 5 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Citizens Property Insurance Corp. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that her insured property was damaged as a result of a water loss, including damage to building, contents and loss of use. However, despite efforts of plaintiff to furnished timely notice of covered loss, the suit states the defendant refused to pay either part or all of plaintiff's claim.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages, interest and attorney's fees, costs and other relief that the court deems just. She is represented by Peter Mineo Jr. of The Mineo Salcedo Law Firm PA in Davie.
