CLEARWATER – A Pennsylvania man alleges he was injured in a crash with a Pinellas County woman on Enterprise road in the county.
Norman Fitzgerald filed a complaint on June 2 in the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida - Pinellas County against Lydia Coughlin, Bethaney Jean Coughlin and The Travelers Home and Marine Insurance Co. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 31, 2014, he sustained property damage and personal injuries when Bethaney Jean Coughlin, who was operating a vehicle owned by Lydia Coughlin, collided with his vehicle.
The plaintiff holds Lydia Coughlin, Bethany Jean Coughlin and The Travelers Home and Marine Insurance Co. responsible because defendant Bethaney Coughlin allegedly negligently operated the motor vehicle owned by defendant Lydia Coughlin and defendant Travelers allegedly owes the plaintiff coverage under an underinsured insurance policy.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages against all defendants plus all costs expended for this action and all other issues triable by jury. He is represented by Douglas W. Shanteau and Gordon L. Fenderson of Fenderson Law Firm LLC in Jacksonville.
