Marc Anthony Perez Repair Service Inc. alleged to have failed to obtain permits for work

Contract 05

CLEARWATER – The owners of a Seminole home allege that the contractor they hired to remodel their home failed to complete the work in a professional manner.

Glen R. Holland and Judith L. Holland filed a complaint on June 1 in the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida - Pinellas County against Marc Anthony Perez and Marc Anthony Perez Repair Service Inc. alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they hired the defendants for remodeling work on their Seminole property in March 2016. They allege that when they returned to Florida from Pennsylvania in December 2016 to live at the property, the work was not completed and had been done in a sloppy and unworkmanlike manner. The suit states that the plaintiffs had to hire another contractor to complete and repair the work.

The plaintiffs holds Marc Anthony Perez and Marc Anthony Perez Repair Service Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly were not properly licensed to perform the work, failed to obtain building permits and failed to have the work inspected.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendants, jointly and severally for all damages, plus interest, costs of court and such other relief as may be just and proper. They are represented by Daniel L. Moody of Daniel Moody PA in Largo.
