Busy Bee Supermarket patron alleges liquid on floor caused fall, injuries

ORLANDO – A woman alleges she was injured in a fall at an Orange County supermarket.

Lourdes Soto filed a complaint on June 8 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against M & M Market Inc., doing business as Busy Bee Supermarket, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 6, 2015, she was on defendant's property as a lawful invitee when she slipped and fell because of a liquid substance that accumulated on the floor. As a result, she alleges she was injured in and about her body and extremities, incurred medical expenses, and will suffer losses and impairment in the future. 

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant for damages. She is represented by Tony Bennett of Tony Bennett Law PA in Jupiter.
