Property owner alleges St. Johns Insurance Co. failed to pay for damages

Insurance 08

ORLANDO – An Orange County man alleges that his property was damaged and his insurer has failed to pay for the loss.

Davi Nadiya Mohabeer filed a complaint on June 6 in the Orange Circuit Court against St. Johns Insurance Co. Inc. alleging St. Johns Insurance Co. Inc.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 5, 2015, his property was damaged by water due to an opening in the roofing system. The plaintiff holds St. Johns Insurance Co. Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to establish proof that it was not responsible for the payment of covered losses and failed to pay the requested amounts for repairs and/or replacements.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant, for damages, interest, attorney's fees, costs and any other such relief that the court deems just and proper. He is represented by Thomas J. Morgan Jr. of Morgan Law Group PA in Coral Gables.
