ORLANDO – A Pennsylvania couple alleges that the wife was injured at an Orlando restaurant.
Michele El Assri and Hassan El Assri filed a complaint on June 2 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Darden Restaurants Inc., doing business as Bahama Breeze, et al. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on July 4, 2013, Michelle El Assri was on the defendants' premises when she slipped on a wet floor causing her to sustain injuries and damages. Hassan El Assri alleges he was deprived of his wife's aid, services, comfort, consortium and affection because of the incident.
The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly allowed the area to remain in a dangerous condition, failed to erect barricades and implement safety precautions to alert invitees and failed to keep the floors clean and safe.
The plaintiffs seek judgment against defendants for damages interest, costs and attorney's fees. They are represented by Jon Marshall Oden of Willis Oden in Orlando.
