King Tuts Lounge guest alleges he was injured in attack in parking lot

ORLANDO – An Orange County man alleges he was injured in an attack at an Orlando establishment.

Jonathan J. Lasanta filed a complaint on May 26 in the Orange Circuit Court against 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County alleging Saint George LLC, doing business as King Tuts Lounge; JCMA LLC; and Alafaya Business Center Condominium Association alleging negligent security, premises liability and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 4, 2013, he was violently attacked, assaulted, battered and beaten by an unknown assailant while walking in the parking area of defendants' property in Orlando.

The plaintiff holds Saint George LLC, JCMA LLC and Alafaya Business Center Condominium Association responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide adequate security and adopt security measures to safeguard their business invitees.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for general damages, interest, costs and any other relief that the court deems just. He is represented by Frank D. Butler and James S. Curtis of Frank D. Butler PA in Pinellas Park.
