ORLANDO – They owners of a Winter Garden residence allege that the home's contractor improperly installed the stucco system.
Aurelio and Lourdes Sandoval filed a complaint on May 26 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against M/I Homes of Orlando LLC alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that their Winter Garden home was constructed by the defendant and that the defendant improperly installed the stucco system on their home. They allege that they have been damaged from the construction defects and violations to their property, which reduced the value of their home.
The plaintiffs hold M/I Homes of Orlando LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to comply with all applicable building codes and regulations, and failed to construct and deliver a property that is equivalent to industry standard.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendant for damages, together with interest, costs and further relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Joshua M. Zudar of Burnett Wilson Reeder in Tampa.
