CLEARWATER — A technology company is suing Federal Business Systems Corporation Government Division, a foreign company, citing alleged breach of contract.
Tech Data Corporation filed a complaint on May 22 in the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida - Pinellas County, alleging that the defendant failed to pay for goods it allegedly agreed to purchase.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it delivered computers, computer parts and software to the defendant on May 8, 2013, but was not able to collect the money owed. The plaintiff allegedly suffered damages from not receiving the total amount of $198,668.80. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to pay the full amount of the goods delivered.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount not less than $198,668.80, plus applicable late fees, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs and attorney's fees and any further relief this court deems just.
