FORT LAUDERDALE – A Miramar homeowner alleges her insurer did not pay her a sufficient amount to cover water damage to her property.
Constance Vossmeyer filed a complaint on May 22 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Tower Hill Preferred Insurance Co. alleging breach of policy.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 14, 2017, her Miramar home was damaged when a shower value in a bathroom failed. She alleges she filed a claim with the defendant and that its payment was undervalued and insufficient. She alleges this underpayment was a breach of the policy.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages, interest, costs and legal fees. She is represented by Joy T. Reid of PR Legal Group PA in Palmetto Bay.
