Driver, vehicle owner named in suit by woman who alleges she was injured in Pembroke Pines crash

FORT LAUDERDALE – A Miami-Dade County woman is seeking more than $15,000 in damages after an accident in Pembroke Pines.

Nereida Santiago filed a complaint on May 18 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Hazel Ann Jack and Vonrick Cornelius Jack alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 18, 2014, she was traveling along SW 114 Avenue and Pines Boulevard when Hazel Ann Jack negligently operated the vehicle owned by Vonrick Cornelius Jack so as to collide with the vehicle the plaintiff was driving. 

As a result, plaintiff alleges she sustained bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, loss for enjoyment of life, medical expenses and aggravation of an existing condition. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for compensatory damages, interest, costs, and other relief that the court deems just. She is represented by Brandon S. Labiner and Michael F. Amezaga of Personal Injury & Accident Law Center PA in Boca Raton.
