CLEARWATER – A motorist has filed suit against a driver and the owners of a car after a collision in Clearwater.
Brianna Carroll filed a complaint on May 16 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Emily Ann Bauer, Robert H. Johnson Jr. and Dawn M. Johnson alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 13, 2015, plaintiff suffered injuries when Bauer, who was operating a vehicle owned by the Johnsons, collided with her near the intersection of Court Street and South Missouri Avenue. As a result, Carroll claims she suffered physical pain, disability, mental anguish and expense for medical treatment.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in an amount of more than $15,000, plus costs of suit, and such other relief as the court deems just and proper. She is represented by Paul R. Cavonis and Joseph M. Murphy of Deloach, Hofstra and Cavonis PA in Seminole.
