CLEARWATER – A woman alleges that a man driving under the influence caused a collision in Largo.
Andrea A. Lecompte filed a complaint on May 16 in the 6th Judicial Court of Florida - Pinellas County against JD Travis Miller Jr. and Jhan Lawson alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 28, 2016, defendant Miller negligently caused the motor vehicle he was driving, which was owned by Lawson, to strike plaintiff's vehicle. The suit states Miller operated the vehicle under the influence of intoxicants or drugs.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $15,000, plus costs of these proceedings and any other remedy as allowed by law. She is represented by Chad M. Pilon and Carrie Lambeth Pilon of Pilon Injury Law in St. Petersburg.
