The Closing Agent, individual accused of breach of contract in Orlando property sale

Contract 10

ORLANDO – An Orange County man alleges that he is owed thousands for the alleged breach of contract regarding a sale of a property.

Michael J. O'Donnell filed a complaint on May 12 in the Orange Circuit Court against the Aleida Verdasco and The Closing Agent alleging breach of contract

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 20, 2016, he entered a binding contract with the defendants for the sale of an Orlando property, which stipulated that seller may elect to recover and retain the $10,000 deposit if buyer fails to perform obligations under the contract. The plaintiff alleges that Verdasco failed to perform the obligations agreed to and that the plaintiff sent notice on Feb. 6, 2017. The suit states the defendant refuses to release the $10,000 in escrow.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendants, $10,000 in escrow held by The Closing Agent to be returned to the plaintiff, attorney's fees, costs, and further relief as the court deems proper. He is represented by Jennifer A. Englert of The Orlando Law Group PL in Orlando.
