CLEARWATER – A Palm Harbor corporation alleges that it was damaged because of unlawful conversion.
Surgical Capital Solutions Inc. filed a complaint on May 12 in the Pinellas Circuit Court against Gulfcoast Surgery Center Inc. alleging conversion of account receivables.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it purchased medical account receivables generated by defendant. As a result of defendant's actions, the plaintiff alleges it was damaged for not receiving the total amount of $83,188.
The plaintiff holds Gulfcoast Surgery Center Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly wrongfully converted account receivables back to itself and for its own use.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for an amount equal to $83,188, attorney' s fees and cost and any other relief the court deem just and equitable. It is represented by Christopher L. Hamblen of the Law Offices of Christopher L. Hamblen in Palm Harbor.
