Driver seeks more than $15,000 for damages after Deerfield Beach accident

Car accident 06

FORT LAUDERDALE – A Broward County resident alleges that she was injured in a collision near the intersection of SE 13th Court and South Federal Highway in Deerfield Beach.

Miria Reis filed a complaint on May 4 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Zackery Parrish and Serviceone Marine Trade & Mechanical Services LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 23, 2016, she suffered bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, impairment, disability, inconvenience, aggravation of a previously existing condition, mental anguish, loss of earnings and incurred medical expenses, as a result of the negligence of Parrish in operating a vehicle owned by his co-defendant so that it collided with plaintiff's motor vehicle.

The plaintiff holds Zackery Parrish and Serviceone Marine Trade & Mechanical Services LLC responsible because Parrish allegedly operated the vehicle at an unsafe and excessive speed and failed to keep a proper lookout.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for compensatory damages of more than $15,000, plus taxable costs. She is represented by Michael B. Westheimer of Miller Law Group PA in Pompano Beach.
