FORT LAUDERDALE – A man alleges he fell at a Coral Springs property because of rocks.
Brian S. Williams filed a complaint on May 4 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Starwood Capital Group Global LP, doing business as Promenade at Wyndam Lakes, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 5, 2016, he was walking toward his parked vehicle and was caused to slip and fall because of marble-like rocks and stones.
The plaintiff holds Starwood Capital Group Global LP responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn plaintiff of the hazardous condition, exposed plaintiff to unreasonable risk or harm and failed to keep premises free from dangerous conditions.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages of more than $15,000, plus interest and costs. He is represented by Lance C. Rudzinski of Reifkind, Thompson & Rudzinski LLP in Fort Lauderdale.
