Man alleges he was injured in collision in Pompano Beach

FORT LAUDERDALE – A man employed by an insurance company alleges he was injured in an accident while covered under a policy issued by his employer.

Jean Toussaint filed a complaint for damages on May 4 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Zurich North America Inc. 

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 13, 2016, he was driving the defendant's vehicle near South Federal Highway in Pompano Beach and as struck by an underinsured motorist. He alleges he suffered bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish, inconvenience, incurred medical expenses and aggravation of a previously existing condition.

The plaintiff seeks judgment in his favor for compensatory damages, costs and interest. He is represented by Todd Baker of Steinger, Iscoe & Greene PA in Fort Lauderdale.
