Motorist alleges negligent driver caused injuries in Pinellas County crash

CLEARWATER – A Pinellas County resident alleges he was injured in a collision on U.S. Highway 19 North in the county.

Hesham Mechaell filed a complaint on May 10 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Michael Douglas Ogilvie and 21st Century Centennial Insurance Co. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 17, 2016, he has suffered bodily injury, great pain and suffering, impairment, disability, inconvenience, aggravation of a pre-existing condition, mental anguish, loss of earnings, and incurred medical expenses, as a result of the negligence of Ogilvie in operating a vehicle so that it collided with plaintiff's motor vehicle. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for an amount of more than $15,000, plus costs and other relief as may be justly entitled. He is represented by Christian Pipas of Pipas Law Group in St. Petersburg.
