Kissimmee woman faces suit after her car was involved in Orlando crash

ORLANDO – An Orlando man alleges he was injured by a vehicle owned by a Kissimmee resident in Orlando.

James Richardson Jr. filed a complaint on May 1 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Leslie Peden alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 17, 2016, he was driving on state Road 535 in Orlando when an individual permitted by Peden carelessly operated defendant's motor vehicle so as to collide with plaintiff's vehicle. As a result, plaintiff alleges he sustained permanent loss of an important bodily function, significant scarring, aggravation of an existing physical defect, pain and suffering, mental anguish, lost wages and substantial medical bills. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages against defendant for personal injury including losses, costs, interest and other relief as may be deemed proper by the court. He is represented by Lance Weber of Dan Newlin & Partners in Orlando.
