Driver's alleged negligence claimed to cause injuries to Pasco County couple

Car accident 23

CLEARWATER – A Pasco County couple alleges they suffered damages after a collision in Pinellas County.

Lisa C. Deptula and Christopher J. Deptula filed a complaint on May 8 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Kody Dinofia alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Feb. 23, plaintiff Lisa C. Deptula was struck from behind while on U.S. Highway 19 North near the intersection of Mainlands Boulevard West by the defendant. The suit states the action caused her vehicle to be pushed into a third vehicle operated by Ryan A. Peterson. As a result, Lisa C. Deptula claims she suffered physical injuries and loss of earnings while her husband, plaintiff Christopher J. Deptula, alleges he has suffered a loss of consortium.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment for damages of more than $15,000, plus prejudgment interest, post-judgment interest, costs, and all other relief to the extent allowed by law. They are represented by Marc J. Semago and Philip A. Friedman of FL Legal Group in Tampa.
