CLEARWATER – A Largo business is alleged to have failed to pay a business loan.
Regions Bank filed a complaint on April 28 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Woodhouse Flooring Inc., formerly known as Woodhouse Carpets and Interiors Inc., and Jon M. Woodhouse alleging unjust enrichment and breach of personal guaranty.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 4, 2006, Regions Bank acquired Amsouth Bank and assumed ownership of its assets and liabilities including account of the defendants. The plaintiff alleges the defendants made payments on the Business FlexLine Loan up to Oct. 14, 2014, but have not made any payments since. It alleges it is owed $31,413.28.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendants, costs of action and further relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Paul W. Burke and Eric Retter of Drew Eckl & Farnham LLP in Atlanta, Georgia.
