Thermo Air Inc. alleges Mai-Kai owes more than $14,000

FORT LAUDERDALE – A Fort Lauderdale company is accused of failing to pay for services for its HVAC system.

Thermo Air Inc. filed a complaint on April 24 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Mai-Kai Inc. and Dave Levy alleging breach of contract, unjust enrichment and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant contracted it for services and repairs to its HVAC system in April 2016. The plaintiff holds Mai-Kai Inc. and Levy responsible because the defendants allegedly breached the contract with plaintiff by refusing to pay for services received.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for unpaid services in the amount of $14,564.16, costs, expenses, prejudgment interest, attorney's fees, and further relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Mendy Lieberman of The Lieberman Law Firm PA in Miami.
