Passenger files suit over alleged injuries in Tyrone Boulevard collision

Car accident 27

CLEARWATER – A woman alleges she was injured when her vehicle was struck by a Green Cab driver.

Jacqulyn Ashley filed a complaint on April 27 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Charles Nunns; Wagner Green Enterprise LLC, doing business as Green Cab; and USAA Casualty Insurance Co. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 6, 2016, she was traveling on Tyrone Boulevard in Pinellas County when Nunns, driving a van owned by Green Cab, collided with her vehicle. She alleges she has suffered damages including disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, inconvenience, loss of earnings, incurred medical expenses, and aggravation of a pre-existing condition. Additionally, she alleges she was further damaged by USAA's refusal to provide any benefits from underinsured/uninsured motorist liability coverage.

The plaintiff holds Nunns, Wagner Green Enterprise LLC and USAA Casualty Insurance Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to safely operate a vehicle, failed to pay attention to traffic, and failed to compensate plaintiff’s claim under the insurance policy.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for damages of more than $15,000, plus costs, and other relief to which she may be entitled. She is represented by Christian Pipas of Pipas Law Group in St. Petersburg.
