CLEARWATER – A St. Petersburg woman alleges she was injured in a fall at a Red Lobster restaurant.

Brenda Farnes filed a complaint on April 27 in the Pinellas Circuit Court against Red Lobster Management LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 26, 2016, she was at the defendant's Largo location and fell because of a significant height deviation between the sidewalk and the curb. She alleges she injured her head, neck, body, back and limbs.

The plaintiff holds Red Lobster Management LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn plaintiff of the dangerous condition which existed on its premises and failed to maintain, inspect and correct the condition of the area to prevent harm.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for all damages entitled to her of more than $15,000 along with costs of action and prejudgment interest on liquidated damages. She is represented by Tony Griffith of Tanney, Griffith & Bresler PA in Clearwater.
